Sweet Cornbread

Ingredients

  • ½ cup cornmeal (Bob's XXXX)
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • cup oil
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • cups milk

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350
  • Grease an 8-inch square pan
  • Combine the dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl (cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Dump in the wet stuff (oil, melted butter, honey, eggs and milk. Stir until mixed.
  • Bake for 35 minutes. Let cool. Slice it up.
